Charlie Grassl
/in /by adminCharlie Grassl is a retired electrical engineer and former high school shortstop whose love of the game of baseball has been a strong current in the flow of his life. After 33+ years with Westinghouse, Texas Instruments and Raytheon, he discovered SABR and deepened his enjoyment of the game. The articles in the 1972 Texas Rangers book are his first for SABR. He grew up in San Antonio following the Texas League “Missions” but now resides in Arlington, Texas, with his wife Carole following the Texas Rangers. He moved to Arlington in 2004, from Dallas, to be nearer his daughters and grandchildren but all three daughters believe it had more to do with the location of the Rangers ballpark.
