Joseph Thompson

Joseph Thompson currently is a Ph.D. student at the University of Houston. His research focuses on baseball’s drug, gambling, and vice culture. His first book project was as co-author of the Larry Dierker SABR Chapter book Houston Baseball: The Early Years, 1861-1961. He is wrapping up research for his second book, Mexican American Baseball in the Gulf Coast Region. He currently writes on baseball films and literature. In his spare time, he writes fiction.
