SABR Member Benefit Spotlight: Registering for SABR 51
MARCH 30, 2023 — As a SABR member, you have vast resources and benefits at your disposal. With so much information at your fingertips, we realize it can be overwhelming to absorb it all! To highlight key benefits, read on for this month’s SABR Member Benefit Spotlight, an email series that identifies and explains some of the most valuable features of your membership. We hope this allows you to take full advantage of all SABR has to offer.
With registration now open for SABR 51 in Chicago, today’s issue shows you how to register for our annual summer convention …
Registration is now open for SABR’s biggest event – our annual convention! This summer’s 51st annual convention, SABR 51, will be held at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago from July 5-9, 2023.
SABR’s National Convention, which is open to all baseball fans, includes top featured speakers from around the baseball world – front office executives, players, journalists, historians, and analysts – innovative panel discussions, groundbreaking research presentations, a Chicago White Sox game, the SABR Trivia Contest, Awards Banquet, and most of all, the opportunity to make and renew baseball friendships over the course of this exciting and memorable event.
SABR members save BIG on registration and are eligible for early bird pricing through the end of April, so don’t miss your opportunity to sign-up now and reserve your spot for SABR 51!
- Click here to register for SABR 51. Make sure you are logged into your profile in order to receive the member discount. Once you are logged in, you should see your registration information populate in the empty fields. Double-check that all the required fields are completed before clicking NEXT at the bottom of the form.
- Select either an All-Inclusive Package (which includes a ticket to the Awards Luncheon and the White Sox game), or a Regular Registration (which only includes admission to convention programming). Make sure one of these two options are selected before moving on to the next step.
- If you have selected the All-Inclusive Package, be sure to select a meal selection that begins with All-Inclusive Awards Luncheon. If you have selected the Regular Registration Only but wish to attend the White Sox game or the Awards Luncheon, select one of the A La Carte options to add on to your registration. If you have selected the Regular Registration Only and do not want to attend the game or Awards Luncheon, you can skip this step.
- If you would like any SABR 51 merchandise, you can add that to your cart by entering the number of items you would like to the left of the type of item. If you do not want any merchandise, you can skip this step.
- If you are only registering yourself, click SAVE & FINALIZE REGISTRATION to review your order and complete your purchase. If you would like to register a guest for a full SABR 51 registration, click SAVE & ADD ANOTHER ATTENDEE and repeat the process described above. If you would like to bring a guest to the White Sox game or Awards Luncheon only, click SAVE & ADD ANOTHER ATTENDEE. Then, instead of selecting a full registration option, choose “Select here to add guest for White Sox game or Awards Luncheon”, followed by an A La Carte option in the section below. Please make sure you have completed your full registration first before adding additional guests.
