To highlight key benefits, read on for this month’s SABR Member Benefit Spotlight, an email series that identifies and explains some of the most valuable features of your membership. SABR 51 CONVENTION REGISTRATION
SABR’s biggest event, our annual convention, is back in Chicago this summer! SABR 51, will be held at the Palmer House Hilton from July 5-9, 2023, and we can’t wait to see you there.
The annual SABR convention is open to all baseball fans, and includes featured speakers from around the baseball world — front office executives, players, managers, scouts, journalists, historians, and analysts — innovative panel discussions, groundbreaking research presentations, ballgames, the SABR Trivia Contest, the Awards Banquet, and most of all, the opportunity to make and renew baseball friendships.
We already have an All-Star lineup of speakers announced for Chicago and we’ll catch a White Sox vs. Cardinals game, among other exciting plans. The complete schedule, with more speakers and presentations, will be released soon.

For new SABR members who have never attended a SABR convention, we highly encourage you to attend and find your baseball people! We understand it may be a bit daunting without knowing exactly what to expect, but rest assured this event is a welcome gathering of the most passionate baseball fans you’ll meet anywhere. It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate our great game while making memories, building friendships, and having a blast!
