Charles F. Faber

Charles F. Faber, a retired university professor and administrator, has written numerous books, including several books on baseball published by McFarland & Co.: Baseball Ratings: The All-Time Best Players at Each Position (3r ed. 2008); Baseball Pioneers; Ratings of Nineteenth Century Players (1997); Spitballers: The Last Legal Hurlers of the Wet One (with Richard B. Faber, 2006) and Major League Careers Cut Short: Leading Players Gone by 30. He has also written several books in other fields such as history, law, and education. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
