John J. Watkins
John J. Watkins, a retired law professor, is the author of three books and more than forty scholarly articles. A native of Texas, he lives with his wife Joan in Fort Worth. His great-uncle, George “Watty” Watkins, was a major league outfielder in the 1930s, primarily with the St. Louis Cardinals.
