SABR 42: Transportation Tips

Here are some transportation tips for getting around Minneapolis during SABR 42, June 27-July 1, 2012:

Light Rail

The Metro Transit Light Rail (or the Hiawatha Line) is the most efficient and inexpensive way to travel between the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and the Marriott City Center hotel during the SABR Convention.

The Nicolette Mall stop is 0.1 miles from the Marriott City Center. There is also a separate stop for Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins.

Single-ride fare is $1.75 (or $2.25 during “rush hour”), payable by cash or credit card at any station. While in downtown Minneapolis, you can board the Light Rail for 50 cents to reach most downtown stores, restaurants and businesses.
