From the Tram (T) Level at the airport (one level below baggage claim), take the tram to the Red, Blue and Silver parking ramps. When you exit the tram, follow the signs to the Metro Blue Line station.
- Metro Tickets are sold at ticket machines at the rail stations and on the Metro Transit app.
- Fare is $2 between 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. or after 6:30 p.m., or $2.50 during rush hour on Monday to Friday.
- Reduced fares are available for seniors, youth, and persons with disabilities.
From MSP’s Terminal 1 station, take the train north toward downtown Minneapolis and get off at the Nicollet Mall Station. This will leave you at 5th Street, about eight blocks away from the Hyatt Regency. Use your Light Rail ticket to hop on any bus on the mall and take it four stops south to the hotel, which is at the Alice Rainville Place stop.
When coming to Minneapolis, you don’t need to worry about getting the proper Light Rail train. When going back, however, make sure you wait for the Blue Line train if you are going to the airport or the Green Line train for the Union Station train depot in St. Paul.
