Thomas E. Schott

Thomas E. Schott is a professional historian, holder of a Ph.D. in American history from LSU, retired historian for the DoD, freelance editor, Texas Ranger fan, nephew of the late SABR stalwart Arthur O. Schott, writer/editor of numerous books and articles on the American Civil War, baseball, and American biography. Erstwhile poet. All of these and more. He lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with his wife of 49 years, Susan. Daughter, two sons in Florida, two grandchildren.
