Andrew Harner
A love of baseball was instilled in Andrew Harner from childhood, but since he had next to no athletic skills, he instead dove into the game’s history and poured over box scores as often as he could. And because baseball history wasn’t offered as a college major, he settled for the next best thing—a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism with a minor in history. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2010 and spent nearly seven years as a sports editor before leaving the newspaper industry to pursue a career in hospitality management. Andrew has since published baseball research for HowTheyPlay and spent a little over a year producing online NFL content for Sports Illustrated. He has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, since 2011, and they have two daughters.
