Gary Belleville
Gary Belleville is a retired Information Technology professional living in Victoria, British Columbia. His articles have been published in the Journal of Canadian Baseball and SABR’s Baseball Research Journal, Games Project, and Baseball Biography Project. He has also contributed to several SABR books, including Jackie: Perspectives on 42. He is a two-time winner of the McFarland-SABR Baseball Research Award in 2024 and 2026 for the best baseball history or biography article. He grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics (Computer Science).
