John Saccoman
/in /by adminJohn T. Saccoman is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He team-teaches one of the earliest known Sabermetrics courses there with its founder, Rev. Gabe Costa. They, along with Mike Huber, have co-authored two books published by McFarland — Understanding Sabermetrics (early 2008) and Practicing Sabermetrics (late 2009). A charter member of the Elysian Fields Chapter of SABR, John resides in northern NJ with his son and fellow Mets fan Ryan and Bosox-loving wife Mary.
