Eric Vickrey

He enjoys writing about the St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, cup-of-coffee players, and under-the-radar events from baseball history. Eric is the author of two books: Runnin’ Redbirds: The World Champion 1982 St. Louis Cardinals and Season of Shattered Dreams: Postwar Baseball, the Spokane Indians, and a Tragic Bus Crash That Changed Everything. He is also the co-editor of a forthcoming SABR book on the 2001 Mariners. Born and raised in Illinois, he now lives in Washington state.
