Vince Guerrieri

Vince Guerrieri is a Youngstown native (who attended the same high school as George Shuba, albeit 50 years later). He graduated from Bowling Green State University, which allowed him to see Tiger Stadium before its demise. As a journalist, he covered the groundbreaking of Cafaro (now Eastwood) Field in Niles, and lived in the Pittsburgh area for the opening of PNC Park. He now lives in the Cleveland area, where he is active in the local SABR chapter. He’s the author of one book and co-author of another, and League Park is his happy place.
