Nelson ‘Chip’ Greene

Chip Greene is a management consultant who, after living in the Washington, DC metro area for 45 years, moved in the summer of 2008 to Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. A SABR member since 2006, and a lifelong Orioles fan, he initially joined as a way to learn more about the career of his grandfather, Nelson Greene, who played briefly for Brooklyn in the 1920s, and about Nelson’s contemporaries. Since then, Chip has contributed player biographies to the BioProject website, written for Yankees Annual magazine, and also authored biographies for a number of upcoming SABR book projects.
