Don Zminda
A SABR member since 1979, Don Zminda has been a devoted White Sox fan since he attended his first game at Old Comiskey Park in August of 1954. The director of publications for STATS, Inc. from 1988 to 2000, Don has authored numerous sports books, including The Legendary Harry Caray: Baseball’s Greatest Salesman, a 2019 CASEY Award nominee, and Justice Batted Last: Ernie Banks, Minnie Miñoso, and the Unheralded Players Who Integrated Chicago’s Major League Teams (2025). He also served as editor of the SABR publication Go-Go to Glory: The 1959 Chicago White Sox (2019).
