Frederick C. Bush

Frederick C. (Rick) Bush, his wife Michelle, and their three sons — Michael, Andrew, and Daniel — live in the metro-Houston area, where he teaches English at Wharton County Junior College. Throughout his vagabond youth as an “Army brat,” baseball was a constant, and it still is today. As a SABR member, he has authored works for both the Biography and Games Projects and numerous books. He was an associate editor for Dome Sweet Dome: History and Highlights from 35 Years of the Houston Astrodome and co-edited Bittersweet Goodbye: The Black Barons, the Grays, and the 1948 Negro League World Series with Bill Nowlin.
